Principal's Message
Dear High Point Elementary Family,
I am Dr. Danielle Miller, the proud principal of High Point Elementary! It has been a tremendous honor to serve the High Point Community as Principal since 2020. I love serving this great community and treasure the relationships with the staff, parents, and students. High Point is truly a special place, and I am overjoyed to be in a position to positively impact the lives of students and teachers.
High Point’s most recent successes show the commitment that our community has to ensure that all our students reach high-levels of academic success while also preparing them to be well-rounded global citizens. In 2018, we became an authorized International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme School. As an IB PYP World School, we are dedicated to cultivating, knowledgeable, compassionate, and inquiring learners who will be ready to navigate their future as world citizens! We also have received the honor of being designated as a Georgia Title 1 Distinguished School in 2020 and 2021. This accolade is given to the top 5% Title 1 schools in the state that have the highest absolute performance for all-student groups based on the current statewide assessment. We are proud of these accomplishments, and excited for what the future holds!
I am entering my 19th year as a professional educator. Before transitioning into administration, I was fortunate enough to teach every elementary grade level in the capacity of a homeroom teacher or instructional support teacher. Since transitioning into an administrative role, I have served as an Administrative Assistant, Curriculum and Support Teacher, and Assistant Principal within the Sandy Springs community.
It is my honor to be your principal, and I look forward to serving High Point for many years!
